Announce complete CD-Recording solution for under $900

COMDEX, Las Vegas, November 13, 1995 - Smart and Friendly, Inc. and Incat Systems, an Adaptec Company, have joined forces to produce the $899 CD-R1002/Pro, a fully-featured CD-Recording solution. The new recording station, which will be available in December, includes an internal double-speed CD-Recorder (that functions as both a CD-Recorder and CD-ROM reader), a 650MB CD-R disc from Smart and Friendly, an Adaptec SCSI host adapter, and a comprehensive multi-platform Incat software offering. The CD-R 1002/Pro is a compact half-height unit that installs in a 5.25 bay. An external unit will also be available. Both models are on display at Comdex in the Smart and Friendly booth at the Sands, #M565.
